Josh earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Institute of Art & Design at New England College, where he developed a strong foundation across a wide range of artistic styles and mediums. His formal education continues to inform his approach to tattooing, blending technical skill with thoughtful composition and visual storytelling.
Josh began his tattoo career in early 2020 as an apprentice under studio owner Cinar. Since then, he has continued to refine a style rooted in black-and-grey stylized realism, often incorporating geometric and abstract elements. While he enjoys working across a variety of styles, his work is especially focused on creating dynamic, detailed pieces that balance realism with strong graphic design.
