Danielle is a hand-poke artist and our shop manager, who started her apprenticeship under Çinar in 2024. She grew up in a few different places, but claims Chicago as home. Her interest in this unique style of tattoo is connected to her part-Native Hawaiian background, where the traditional method used is called Kākau. She approaches hand-poke tattooing as a meditative and organic experience, and loves the slower-paced, intentional, and quiet application used. Danielle enjoys working with nature and botanical themes, ornamental, and dot work.
She has two mischievous cats, and in her free time enjoys being outside, practicing yoga, and seeing live music.
